Is Having This Much Fun Legal? (Yes. Obviously.)
Everything I do is fully legal under the Marriage Act 1961 (Cth). I'm a registered Australian marriage celebrant and a Justice of the Peace (Qual). Your NOIM is lodged, your certificate is signed, your BDM paperwork is handled. You leave married — officially, legally, completely.

The minimum legal requirement for a marriage in Australia is five people: the couple, the celebrant, and two witnesses aged 18 or over. I can help source witnesses if needed.

Marry Well started as a series of pop-up wedding days in Noosa, then central Sunshine Coast and Bribie Island — curated micro wedding events where multiple couples could get married on the same beautiful day, sharing costs without sharing their moment.
On Tamborine Mountain, I'm evolving the concept: tailored pop-up packages at carefully chosen locations, available year-round. Not a production line. Not a conveyor belt. A genuine, personalised ceremony experience — just smaller, simpler, and far less stressful than a traditional wedding.

How much does a Tamborine Mountain pop-up wedding cost?
Every package is tailored, so pricing varies depending on guest numbers, the day of the week, location, and any add-ons. As a guide, Gold Coast hinterland micro wedding packages typically range from about $450 (legals only, weekday) to several thousand for a styled gathering. Do I need to book a venue separately?
Not necessarily. I work with a curated selection of locations — some require a venue booking, some are public spaces that just need a council permit from Scenic Rim Regional Council. I'll guide you through whatever's needed.
How far in advance do I need to book?
For the NOIM (legal notice of intended marriage), I need at least one month. For popular dates — spring and autumn weekends especially — I'd suggest booking 3–6 months ahead and more often 12 months. Weekdays have much more flexibility. More on the legal timeline here.
Can I get married on a public lookout or in the rainforest?
Yes — with the right permit. I'll help you sort it. Public land ceremonies on the Scenic Rim fall under Scenic Rim Regional Council jurisdiction. National park areas may require a separate permit from Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. Neither is particularly complicated — I've done this before.
Can you help with a photographer?
Yes — I have trusted photographer relationships in the area and I'll only send you to people I'd genuinely recommend. Just ask. Of course I have an amazing network of lovely suppliers in all areas, so let me know what you need.
What if the weather's terrible?
Tamborine Mountain weather can be dramatic. I always help couples think through a Plan B — and for most locations, there's a beautiful covered or indoor option nearby. The mountain light after a shower? Honestly stunning for photos.
